PROVINCETOWN, MASSACHUSETTS

This feasibility study examined the relocation of the Provincetown Public Library into an existing historic church containing a model fishing schooner, combined with the expansion of the Provincetown Heritage Museum into the existing library. A second study phase examined the possible merger of the Heritage Museum and Pilgrim Monument Museum with a new facility directly adjacent to the Provincetown Monument. Considerations included future governance, possible funding sources, and exhibition and curatorial issues in addition to building and site design.
